Nice, but.....naaaaa.
In 2005 I bought a 2004.5 Dodge 4-door diesel dually with 5,600 miles from a retired guy that was between 5 & 10k less than a Dodge dealer friend could sell a new one for.
It now has over 100k and never a hick-up. It wasn't even broke in yet because fuel mileage kept going up past 25k miles!
Even if I could afford it, I can't see buying a brand new vehicle. With all the uncertainties and fluctuations, I'd hate to have such a financial burden to carry for so many years. Keep looking, be patient, do lots of research and you should be able to find a good, low mileage alternative. A lot of people are trying to get out from under their own financial burdens. Watch the diesel forum site ads and retirees.
As always, be practical. i.e.: Do you really need the added purchase and maintenance expense of 4WD?
