As many of you know, I have had a terrible time with my engine this summer. I wiped out 2 cams in the process.
I finally had a chance to take the top off my engine today as I had a dreaded clack, clack at idle after my latest breakin. The newest cam showed no signs of abnormal wear. I was able to track the clacking down to a collapsed lifter. I replaced the guts in the lifter and installed it back in the engine. I will get a chance to restart the engine later this week.
I would like to thank BJR Racing, moper and Rumblefish360 for their help during this ordeal. They have all been very helpfull.
Now I can move on to another part of the car and there isn't that much left to do before it goes to the paint shop.
