The plymouth superbird....but then as you can see I'm a little biased. LOL! I really like both but own a superbird.

The Daytona was the original. To me, it looks better and more like it was meant to be a wing car. Whereas the SUperBird is a car that Plymouth threw together to get Richard Petty back. Still Awsome in its own right.

Both cars are awsome peices of history. I have never seen a Daytona in person but I have seen several Super Birds and even got to drive one once... It has a Hemi... :D

A interesting fact is none of the body parts at least are not interchangeable on the Superbird and Daytona.

I like how the wing on the superbird is a bit more angled rearward, and looks a lot better than the straight-up one on the daytona, and the fact plymouth had a six barrel version not available on the 69 Daytona. The use of the 15 inch rallys is also a plus over the 14 inch magnums on the dodge. I also like the black mask treatment on the nose cone better. I think plymouth overall did a better job on styling than dodge did across the board on all there models.

Petty, here is a wing comparison, and the cars over all compare.

I think the Daytona looks more stealthy than the Superbird.
My brother had a Superbird back in the '80s. It was a great car.
I chose Daytona.

I think the Daytona looks more "stealthy" but there are a few things about the Superbird i like better than the Daytona or that really add to it.

I think BOTH are awesome in their own right. But the nod for me goes to the SuperBird. How can you argue with the huge decal on the wing?

I'm still looking for a decent candidate to build a clone. Then my Demon goes buh-bye..... maybe. :D

Although project Angrier is dang nasty too.

Thats really cool, didnt know the Mopar wing cars are that aerodynamic. But once you go about 100 MPH with the wing cars the wing really kicks in and it pushes the wheels down.

Daytona, only because you never hear anything about it. Just about the Superbird.
