Anyone else tryed it ? Seems most everyone has cable or sattelite service but us. The cable service comes half way down this street and stops. I still get a mailer from Charter Cable atleast once per week.
Anyway...
DTV sux so bad I might sell the TVs come Feb. 2009.
We've always gotten 4,7,13 VHF just fine. 21,29 on UHF were fine too.
Now with the DTV box we get lots of pixelation, split second freezes, and deleted words on every channel. There are more channels but rather than the little good we had we now get a whole bunch of crap. :(
I'm tired of fooling with it tonight. First thing in the morn this DTV box goes back in its cardboard box.

ya ive seen the commercials promoting the dtv propoganda, and ive only got an antenna, so im hoping this will push my dad into finally splurging for a satellite dish !! lol

i have been hooked up to dtv for 5 or 6 yrs now....got the nfl football package....

got about 5 receiver in the house and one in the motorhome...

i think you are talking about direct tv, and redfish is talking about the new digital tv.

the thing that really irks me, is that even with a new format digital tv, you still have black stripes above and below letterbox movies. WHY didn't they match the tv and movie formats into the same size widescreen picture?
with what the new big tv's cost, i want to see picture on every inch! not black lines. just my 2 cents worth, Doug
