Temp gauge sender location

Looks like you got a good solution.

I was thinking today, the best readout of engine temp would be the bypass hose. It always has engine temp coolant going through it. Heater hose would do the same on the supply side. As long as it does not have a shutoff in the line (AC cars)

You have to get creative! We utilized fittings at the heater line fitting and a T as you can see in the pic. I looked all over the forum and this is what I believe most have done. Let me know if you can't see it and I will get a better pic of it. I don't have a pic of the oil pressure fitting area but also added a T behind the distributor to run both the dummy light and gauge.

I think this is what im gonna have to do with my offy intake. Do you have the specs on that tee fitting?

I'm sorry, I don't; it's been so long since we did it. I believe I went to Home Depot and just went to brass area and put it together. I'll ask my son if he remember and I'll PM you if he does. I remember once realizing that was what we were going to do, and wrapping my head around that, it was just putting the puzzle pieces together and making sure we had the correct thread for everything to work.

Still running the same set up, no leaks and no problems.

Just be sure to have a piece to allow for the length of the gauge sensor.
