Testing Anti-Seize Compounds (and blowing up a lawn mower)

that was interesting...wonder how the copper version MIXED with oil would work?
as engine oil? no, big no. antiseize compounds include a few things. a grease to suspend it, an abrasive to clean the threads and to reduce vibration loosening and a cathodic protector. sometimes they are the same stuff like the aluminum one.
as anti seize? its fine, you are just diluting the carrier grease so less of the working materials get on the surface, but it would probably coat smoother.
