One could only 'wish',

That Mother Mopar would have pulled the 'proverbial trigger' on a
limited production 1970 'Duster 440'.

If you want to experience 'true pain' and sliced up fingers, hands and arms,
as well as a wrenched neck.

Install a 440 in an A-Body, using an Engine Crane on a gravel-based driveway,
and utilizing the stock Exhaust Manifolds.

All by yourself.

'Apocalypse Now'

I think most would agree,

A 1970 - '440 Duster' in a plain paper wrapper would have been the best Plymouth.

Simple and to the point.

* Front Disc Brakes
* Trunk-mounted Battery
* Aluminum Dual-Plane High-Rise Intake
* .509" Lift Camshaft
* 11.0 TRW Pistons

No outside 'tarter decals', Hood Scoops or Spolier Tails.

Here's my new toy. '72 Scamp with 440, 727 and a 9". It's still in Indy, should be on a transport heading to Texas by the end of the week.

Needs more options like alum front clip,ss springs,3.91's/4.10's,elect ign,max wedge style exh manifolds,alum waterpump and housing,maybe alum trunk deck...all stock of course and painted...would have been the 'dominent one' for sure,and a sneaky predator...

Oh, you mean a 440 'AL'

Got to keep it a 'clean sleeper though'.

Aluminum Max-Wedge Stage III Cylinder Heads
Aluminum Water Pump Housing
Aluminum Water Pump
Aluminum Oil-Pump Housing
Max-Wedge Type Exhaust Manifolds {2.75" Exhaust Piping}
4.30 Gears
Hardened Axles
835 CFM Holley Carburetor

No, on the Aluminum Front Clip {Too Costly}

Yes, on the Thin-Steel {Hood, Front Fenders, Trunk Deck Lid}

1971 Demon RV 440/727. I want something to get me to the store a lil faster. Organized chaos in progress. ;)

Yep that'd be the one that should've been,would've had to tie the frame for sure,torque boxes..
