At 65 I know exactly how you feel....3 or 4 hours every other day is all I can muster to work on the Dart.....at this rate I'll be done with it.......probably never. Oh well we need something to do to keep from stoving up and withering away. You're lucky you can still eat cake.:burnout::burnout::burnout:

I thank the man above for my health, what mind I still have, the list is long for all i'm thankful for..... although my bank account is short! LOL
yes , diabetes is a terrible disease. thankfully. I don't have that problem. I have some friends that bravely deal with it...
I've always been active. its hard to admit I don't function like I used to. always been a goal oriented type. I've learned that I won't get all my car work ( other other things) done as I would like. lack of $ and / or lack of strength! LOL
I admit I have too many project cars, but I love working on them. (drivers is what I strive for). but I decided to pick up a small collection while they are afffordable. I seen the price of these things rise and fall twice. I figure they will go up again as the economy slowly rebounds. if the economy goes "belly up", then I will be dainged glad I have them, some good broke horses, rifles and ammo, my own little bit of land, and a large supply of GRITS!!!! lol! NO really!!!!

have you considered a good energy drink ......maybe in a diet form to not get all the sugar.

When I was still in school last year I used 5 hour energy when I would be up all night and needed to make it to class......I would take a double dose of that 5 hour energy and get that "supercharged" feeling but the downside is when you crash ......yowza, you crash hard.

Mountain dew is bit milder.....I often hit the diet mountain/regular dew mix....enough of it really gets your heart rate up and keeps you going longer .....only downside to this is you get a tolerance to it over time. I got to where I was a drinking a 2 litre bottle in a day and didn't even feel the effects anymore.

There is a coffee house too ....maybe an espresso with a shot of super caffeine boost to give you that 440 six pack feeling

really gets you through the afternoon after your up all night.

WoW,

Good intentions Rani I'm sure as I've never read a negative post from you but that's absolutely horrible advice. I know a lot of folks do em but those energy drinks are really bad for your health when young and I certainly wouldn't recommend somebody in their 60's start drinking them. Get your energy naturally from proper nutrition, eat some fruit with natural sugars for a boost, throw some fruit, milk, yogurt and ice in a blender for an energy treat, hell a chocolate bar would be better.

No disrespect but perhaps an attitude adjustment is in order. Don't know your health issues but you have to convince your self that 60 is the new 40. Am 65 and I live by if you don't grow up by 40 you don't have to. Just my .02.

Warm cake and a bunch of pups- you got the life!!
Maybe you should doggy-sit some of your neighbours Labs, they would have lots of holes dug for you in no time.

Make sure that hole doesn't get 6ft deep!!
