Who makes the thinnest head gaskets that will work with a 5.9 magnum?

Doing a cam swap this winter and thought that would be a good time to switch to the thinner head gaskets. Right now i'm running whatever came in my rebuild gasket set, probably .045, or .050 thick.

Suggestions? Part numbers ?

Thanks

Summit should have MP steel shim gaskets 0.019 thickness. 65'

Well did some searching and found the
Cometic 5633-027
.027 thickness, but their $80 Each !

If I can't find a thin gasket cheaper than that I'll just do the cam swap and leave the heads alone.

Agree with 70aar. The main difference is the Mag gasket has "guide holes" for the pushrods.

Going from .050 to .027" thickness drops the volume by about 4 cc's which is good for about .3-.4 point in static and dynamic CR. You'll feel the difference.

With thin head gaskets, I'd suggest having the heads checked for flatness and a skim cut taken at least ...it won't take much to have a gasket leak. People ignore this far too often IMHO.
