When I built this engine (Indy headed 422 small block) I never thought I had a chance to get it into the 5's on an 1/8 mile hit but I've been oh so close. It went a 6.004 and three weeks later I ran a 6.003@113.27mph pass. Its been a target of mine to make it into the 5's while still running a solid lifter cam. It will be coming apart after 9 days at The Halloween Classic at Norwalk Ohio in two weeks. I will be racing Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and hopefully Sunday so with some good weather I may get my chance. Its gone 9.40's in the 1/4 mile but without the roller cam its laying down some.
