So I had bought this thing, below, back on the hoist today............ It had a grill guard which pushed back under and took out the condenser/ rad/ core support. It's a V6/ auto/ 4x4 lo/hi range, with limited slip rear. "Seems to run."
...........and I FINALLY got the rust bucket, below, ready to haul to the scrap yard TOMORROW!! Sunday, I hauled the rolling chassis/ V6/ 2wd out of this one up to the estate property "for storage"...........AND............
Hauled this one, below, back home which had been up there..............and made a big decision. The black one is a V8 5.2 4x4, the pinion nut came loose and unquestionably damaged the ring/ pinion, dinged up the shaft, and the shaft whipped around and BROKE THE TRANSMISSION CASE. It "seems to run."
So what I intend, as the white one has considerable body damage, is to put the V6/ transmission/ transfer/ rear axle out of the white one into the black one and turn it into a "spare DD" or maybe sell it as a running truck. In any case I'm gonna try.
Only real body damage is to the right front fender, which I might get the neighbor to straighten, or the white one "might" provide one
