Is anyone running a 195/60-15" tire, on a 8"rim ? -- Does it look OK ? -- I know that 7" is the max, recommended, wheel, for that tire. -- Thanks

Yea, save it for the kids and their mom's hand me down Civic.

Regardless of my smart *** comment, what are you trying to accomplish? Do you just want the look of a skinny tire or do you have a fitment issue? Sound like you have a 15x8 rims for the front. What car are we working on? A bodies all vary in wheel/tire fitment between models.

Why ??? What are you planning on putting them on and why an 8" rim ? Probably too much negative offset to fit in fenderwell of most cars. Load range is equivalent to a small 14" tire. 6 " is proper rim size for proper ride and handling, tire wear.

Probably changing the look up, while saving money (like the rest of us) for new rims

-- Want to change the looks, on this car. It has 15 X8" rims, with 215/60-15" tires, on the front, and 245/60-15" on the rear, 15 X 8" rims, also, --

Ooohhh, I love Falcons! Thunderbolt hood looks sweet. 289 car? Weld rims? I like the way it looks in the picture, but that doesn't look like a 215 on a 8" wide rim. I have a 215 on my 7" wide front wheels and they are just a bit wider than the rim. To go skinny you need to go narrower wheel.

-- Yep ! -- It's a 215 on a 8", weld, rim. The 215 has too much tread width, for Me. -- See My garage, on this site, for details on the car.
