I thought I had it all figured out but I guess not. I have a set of 14 inch SBP rallye wheels on tires. They are about 6 1/2" total width so 5 1/2 or 6" I guess. The fronts wheels have newer BF Goodrich TA 215/70 tires and the back are 235/60 (backs are old but I have new ones I bought without thinking). I'm looking at the bulge on the rear tires and they really are too wide for the wheels...back to the drawing board. No one around here can widen the wheels and 14x7 SBP wheels seem to be out of stock everywhere or perhaps they are NLA now. I was thinking of buying 2 more 215/70 for the back for a square set-up or perhaps putting the 215/70 on the back and 205/70? on the front (limited selection in BF Goodrich TA sizes). I'm not sure what an appropriate set-up would be. Its a street car and I am mostly going for a stockish look. What do you all think?
