tranny help

hi have a transbrake 904 drives great, but reveice goes spongie when hot and brake wont hold ,when cold all workes well ,do i need to tighten low/reverice band thanks ian

Sounds like leakage and/or slippage in the high gear (front) clutch. It comes on in reverse and 3rd, and also comes on with the trans-brake.

thanks for your reply.the box has been reco ,i instored the brake instuctions said torq bands to 100 inch pound and back of 1 .1/2 turns for frount and rear,drove car band grabing re torq them to firm and back off 2 3/4 frount and 4 turnes rear all foward gears shift hard.trying this myself its all new to me ,any info and specs will help thanks ian
