I always use locktite for insurance because I had one come off while going down the road....luckily I was only doing 30MPH but was still very scary!!

Not sure who put it on, it looks new. Been driving it this way for about 8 months even on the interstate. Makes me wonder what else is loose

That pitman is pressed on pretty good, It may have lasted longer than you think but nuts are made to be TIGHT! Good policy is to check everything down there when you do an oil change, while waiting for the pan to drain. Good catch.
I will be doing a down under double check in the near future!
