Well, I still have reason to doubt my car will be ready for next weekend, but it is getting much closer. The chassis now carries its' certification and the aluminum work is going to be started ery soon. Here are some pics of the progress.

Is that a butt weld in the first pic? Does that just support the body?

Edit: It looks like it supports the front motor plate?
 
Yeah, those bars are just gonna be spliced together. It is where the chromoly will meet the old mild steel
