i was on the phone today with a parts supplier, and he was saying that dart rear seals wouldnt work for a valiant. he said the front would and has worked fine, but hes had fitment issues with putting a rear dart seal on a valiant. my car is a 74 4 dr. if that matters. anyone know if there is a difference??

No one makes a rear seal for 4 dr's. Trust me we've looked everywhere. The best thing is to find a broken rear window and remove the rubber. I hate breaking glass just to get the rubber. So be kind, someone might need a rear window.

Is it the same as a 69 Valiant?

I may have one pretty soon. Are you in a rush. Going to cut up a 69 4 door valiant and can get the seal for you. Hopefully.

i still have the window in the carand it seem to seal ok, but im getting the entire interior done and want to make sure there are NO leaks. i have already bought the side window channels and lower rubbers, but just wanted to do the windsheilds as preventative maintenence. what are my options to make sure this thing wont give me problems?? should i leave the rear in the car??

Get a friend to run a water hose over rear window while you are in the backseat checking for leaks.Check for water droplets all around seal.Hope this helps!

ok guys, i just remembered that i wanted to ask about headliner install also. im getting a new one put in, so whats the best way to go about this?? can i remove just the front windsheild, or are both gonna have to come out? as mentioned the rear seal is hard to find new if not impossible, so is there a procedure i can use to pull this glass that wont ruin the rear seal???
