I need to buy a new set of valve springs for my 340. I just looking for a stock replacement set that has spring rates similar to the original factory ones had. Any recommendations?

I would probably get some from Comp Cams, not sure on a part #, other will chime in :glasses7:

or trick flow 16901-16

I think it's the same spring and a few $'s less. Someone on this forum pointed out the TF springs being the same comp number with a 16 in front for std springs.

Same here on the comp cams #901 springs. They have just a little more seat pressure ( 10 lbs or so ). Which I think they needed from the factory to help control the valves a little better at 6000 rpm.
