I have a friend who airbrushes for a living, and i made a flat plate out of scrap sheetmetal about the size of a licence plate for him at his request, slotted holes and all. He had somebody he was gonna play a practical joke on. He painted this thing up to look like a regular Texas tag and screwed it on the back bumper of this guys truck over the top of the existing plate the combination was 2GA-Y4U. The texas tags of this vintage have a cowboy riding a horse , he also painted the cowboy but he was screwing a horse. Funny thing was i think this plate ran around on this dudes truck for a week before he noticed.

The one plate i thought was cool was 14U2C (one for you to see)

Heres a couple over the years.

My 67 came with Illinois plates reading

ELIMIN8

I used them for part of the interior on my 35 International jalopy.
