Very weird no spark (again)

-
So I went out this morning to start the dart its been setting about the same amount of time as last time between starts and the same thing. No spark. I checked the transistor with a test light and it lit up like a 12 volt light. So I held it there and very slightly wiggled the plug on the ecu the light went off and it fired right off immediately! Is the plug shorting or a bad connection ?
I would say it's time for a new plug or better yet new complete engine harness. They are not overly expensive. Evans wiring sells harness wiring for mopar and classic industries also has them. Not sure of yearone.

I will look into that. Thanks. Id like to eventually redo all the wiring I know it needs it but I really don't want to lol

isn't the connectoid held onto the ecu with a screw? There should be no "play" in the connection between the contacts, the boot, and the screw fastener, and the ecu.

Ye there is a screw in the connector. There isn't any play in the connector itself im assuming its in one of the wire connectors in the plug itself.

You could try tightening the connectors in the plug, get a small pick and press it between the round connector and the plastic connector.

A little wiggling and prying might tighten them all up.

You don't have much to loose.

The issue might be at the junction where the wire is crimped to the connector and that would require a connector pigtail swap.
