I don't like it. I use the other formula.
It is not flawed , .... you just don't like it . "To each his own"....I think I said that already .

All you'd have to do is divide by 8 and multiply by whatever number of cylinders you have. This whole argument is dumb considering how basic the math is. If you don't know how to calculate cylinder volume, ask a neighborhood 12 yr old.
I held a little service with my half-built block today. Sat there and drank a beer, while I waited for it to finish assembling itself. Needless to say, I was disappointed in the results...![]()
Or grab a slide rule (only if you are old).
Pffft dont need to be old to use one of those,i see sliderulers in good condition all the time in second hand stores.
I can honestly say, I`ve never used a slide rule in my life !

Bore X Bore X Stroke X .7854 X the number of cylinders. Right out of the NHRA rule book.
Yup. That's why I use it. It's good enough for NHRA
Don't rock the boat...We should ask Krooser to rename the thread in "How to correctly compute engine displacement".![]()
This thread is like the Titanic... gone too soon! That boat already capsized. LOL
Bore X Bore X Stroke X 6.2832

Yep they fit...7 degree. We pulled several off the shelf until we found one that fit.Granted...... I’m looking at a pic on my phone...... so it’s probably fine...... but...... do those locks actually fit these retainers?
The retainers look like they might be for 10* locks.

I remember having a three sided ruler that made it easier to do complex math by providing all sorts of shortcuts and info... I barely got by 2x2=5 before I gave up.I still have one but I doubt if I could still play anything on it.
These are dual springs so break-in will be a snap.just set them up taller???
break in weth something else
