Water pump

Guys, quick question. I think my water pump just packed it in on the 340.It has been awhile, do I require silicone on the bolts on the install? Seem to remember doing that before.

Yes they do.


Silicone or use the silver powder stop leak.

I use white Teflon pipe dope

I bought new stainless bolts at Ace. I sealed the threads w/ "gasket sealant". My timing cover was pitted almost thru, so replaced it. Be prepared for that possibility.
