What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Fab'd and installed an enclosed buss bar and ground post station to support the trunk mounted battery. This will power the rad fans, 110A alt, MSD AL6, etc on my '68 Dart GTS. Securely mounted with stainless rivnuts. I'll post more details in technical forum post.

Going to put bucket seats and wheel well trim on one of the 71 dusters today...parts have been in storage for many years so we are checking for black widows and brown recluses....Dad is 79 maybe too hot for him today..it's gonna be 96° ...maybe too hot for me in the direct sun....I wondered how my buddy runs his roofing crew in this heat/humidity..he says you have to get out super early and let your body acclimate to the temp....when too hot they have to come down...shingles begin to melt and tear from walking on them.....

The wheel well trim gave me another quarter inch flare to the wheel well really like that it gives it the definition it needs..one more wheel well to do...ran out of screws

OK... back on track. Had to replace the pressure switch on the compressor.. but got the paint wrapped up yesterday. Cleaned up the hood torsion bars and got those done as well. Ready for gaskets and wiring next.

I put a steering stabilizer on my ‘74 W200. I painted the diff cover the standard colors anything oughta be painted. I’m tired of black. Anyways, works great. Tightened up the steering at about 90 mph. Feels good.

Finished putting the new clutch linkage in place of the slipping bolt one that I took off. New clutch set over the last couple weekends .

Replaced shift linkage cotter pins with the correct spring clips and washers also. Thanks to Brewers Performance for having the parts.
 
Pops insisted on a wing....smh..so we call vans...hmmm..way better than expected for $152....might buy another for Ole burgundy 71
