Really. I ran 11.4x's with stock intake, stock exhaust, thermoquad, etc. How about you?

Stock exterior parts though. BOTH classes. NO strokers in pure stock. THAT SAID.. if you think you can't run 11's on mostly stock parts your in the wrong game son.YES,and the F.A.S.T. cars running stroker cranks, hugh cams, hog out intakes, ported to the max heads thousands of dollars in tweaking the carbs.fully rollerized transmission..FAR FAR from any factory..the pure stocks AIN'T pure stock either...nice try!!

You said stock parts. CLEARLY stock parts (intake/exhaust/carbs) can run 11's. No problem. Hell.. home ported 587 heads have been into the 9's many times.
Ok sport.. you win.LMFAO..sure they have lol

Sigh.. point being it can be done no problem. So a big block. With a cam. And 4.56s? 11.40s? I see no reason to celebrate that hard but good for you...lol.
I used to love the smell of Ethyl when they would pump it.I like the idea of less and tidy, but a gas fume smell isnt appealing either.
It is unbelievable how angry some people can be.
But back on topic... can the charcoal can be put at a slight angle?
I have that same radiator, 318. lol. I am not sure why rusty of all folks was set off from actually innocent adjectives. I am glad to see there is enough room in the corner. I am planning on running cold air ducting through the grill, so i will still need to move the can. But after reading through slant6's post I am fairly certain I will keep it. Now I just need to rebuild or replace my can.
Thanks again
Why no indoor storage?Well, if that's the reason for moving it; fresh air trumps everything. ev-ree-ting.
If it was me And: this was a low miles per year car,and ,I was not required by law to keep it, I think I would ditch that heavy turd. I briefly thought about mounting it at the back, where it's weight might might be useful, but on further ponderance, I abandoned the idea.If you ditch it, you will have to vent the tank elsewhere. And indoor storage is a thing of the past
