You got it thats what sparked the idea for the swapSweet! Love the club cab, too. Hmm, let's see...20 years ago, wouldn't that put it right around the time Chrysler had majority stock in Lambo?

To be honest I'm not sure what company made this model. It looks like it might be a promo model as the chassis is held on by 2 screws. I do know it is a vintage model based on the lack of detail, chassis screws and 1971 stamped on the rear licence plate. I bought this from a friend who wheels & deals models and when I got it the model was very ruff. I bought an AMT '70 Challenger just to use for parts to rebuild the '71. The windows, engine, spoiler plus a few other misc parts are from the '70 as these part were missing/damaged from the original model. I do not know where to get one of these other than e-bay. I pulled the chassis off tonight to check for marking's to indicate manufacturer but found nothing on it anywhere so all I can say is good luck on finding one of these.Who makes the 71 Challenger, and where can I get one?
My brother owns a 71 Deputy, and it is very original- except the paint sucks.
Here's the picture. I had to enlarge it, so it's a little grainy. I took this picture at the 1989 Mopar Day.i dont know if i have a pic of it,, i do have video of it from good guys,,i rememebr the light on my camera,,when it lite up the engine bay,,he told his right hand man when we get back i want you to install a light under the hood,,, his mech told me gee thanks more to do,,,lol
the red one is probably his,,some guy with too much money

8)Thanks dge467 I tend to agree that thats what it might be, it's definitely an old model, the screws that hold it together are the originals and somewhat of a "speed" screw (more of a vertical spiral thread). This is the only one of these I've seen though I'm sure there are a few of them around just don't know where...I think it might be an MPC promo.

Yep it's a 60. I have an article on this car, I'll have to reread it and see where he is from.nope not the same car,,,its the same as your 62 300 i think the one you have a pic of at the drag strip is a 60
That's cool, is that a Roadrunner grille I see?An old Chrysler convertable
8)Good eye! Yes it does have a Roadrunner grille as the original was missing and this fit nice so I went used it. This was another vintage built up that I picked up, it was very ruff when I got it pieces missing/broken so I used what I had and did a mild custom build...That's cool, is that a Roadrunner grille I see?
Very nice!!!!!Very clean buildRevell 69 Dodge Charger.
Nice Builds dge467:cheers:Here is my latest build it's not a Mopar but still a fun build. It's a 57 Chevy "Gasser" p/u, chassis is almost finished just a few small details left. I just mocked up the body for pics but it should look pretty cool for my first gasser model, I just wanted to do something different this time.
Nice!!!! Looks like a very interesting build something a little different...more cage work
I love Gremlins!!! I've always wanted to get a Gremlin to drive also I've been watching for a model kit of one but no luck. I know Lindburg has a kit but it's 1/20 scale and doesn't look properly perportioned so I'm still looking..Here are some AMC's.
Anybody got any pictures of a daytona or superbird nascar stocker? I have one in mock-up, but I just cant get the proper look I want. Looking for ideas.
