View attachment 1716443600Dang. Looks like I'll be passing my 06 Corolla on to my daughter. It is just 9 miles away from turning 40,000 miles.View attachment 1716443603This 05 Ram has been my daily driver most of the last 20 years. It has about 145,000 miles on it.
Man, you got 2 brand new vehicles there.
my D250 has 230,000 on it and the original owner used it purely for towing. it has a exhaust brake on it, and the overdrive off switch wires were extended and put on the column shift to reach easier. (for downshifting on grades)
As long as its maintained; they'll go forever.

Current daily. 1998 Jeep GC ZJ. 5.9L, 46RE, 4x4. Special edition ZJ, last year for ZJ body and the only year for a 5.9 in a Jeep. Factory hood louvres, top trim level, … 14,000 Limited units made.
8/10 interior, 223k miles. I’m going to put on ported EQ’s, modded kegger, 52mm throttle body, 210/214 @.050 cam, headers, and 4.10’s soon. Might buy a reman short block. I have bought a 3.79” crank but might save that for my 76 D100. The 5.9 already has great power and I’d like to daily drive it till it rots away. The stroker might not work for what I really want from the Jeep.

Try to drive the 73 340 Duster as much as possible (not when it’s nasty weather and when hotter than 700 hells!). Dad’s 73 340 ‘cuda in the background.

I drive the 2001 3500 CTD, 6 speed, QC, 4x4 a fair bit due to hauling cars, dump trailer, picking up junk …. Dad bought it new in '01 and I bought it from him 22 years later. 226k mi.

Sunrise in Slabtown. 2010 Longhorn. Needs a bath. It's got chocolate over peanut butter interior. I call it my peanut butter truck. Some things I want to do to it. NOT SORRY in yellow letters across the tailgate. I have a suspension kit, down 2 in the front, down 4 in the rear. Don't know when we'll get it installed. Cheers

I had 2 V65 Sabre Hondas, neither one of them managed to make it more than a week without breaking down. They literally spent more time in the shop than on the road. I will admit they were very impressive performers and comfortable to ride.
Really? Most reliable bikes I have ever had, bar none. Literally jump on it, go through literally two sets of tires before I got home, no problems. Mine is also modded to the nth degree with things like the "three wire mod" and the "oil mod" etc for longevity. Only the oil mod was really necessary for the over 200k mark in my opinion. The gear mod was for better MPG and passing gear, the tire mods were the most intensive.

Those old bikes were fun. I've had probably 20 over the years. Almost all Suzuki, and a couple Kaws.
I am known as a "bike *****" LOL- I have 5 Z based Kawis, a couple three 'zuks, two hondas, a ducati project, probably done next year. Working on my shop has put everything on the back burner, but will redouble in production once I am done with it- honestly, I do more Jeep projects than anything.

Dealer said the problems were in the wiring harnesses, I got so pissed off that I contacted Honda Canada and complained daily. After the first bike was in the shop for 18 of the first 21 days of ownership, they agreed to take it back and gave me another new one. I wanted to trade it for an FJ1200 Yamaha, but Honda insisted that it had to be another V65. That one was back in the shop after 3 or 4 days of ownership, spent a week there, and by that time it was almost winter. I got rid of it the following spring. No question they were an extremely fast bike, my brother had a V-Max Yamaha at the same time and the two bikes were very close in performance. I think the V-Max was rated at 145 HP, and the Honda at 121 HP, the Yamaha had a butterfly valve in the intake tract that acted like the secondaries on a four barrel carb, once the RPMs hit 3500, each cylinder was fed by two carbs. Lots of fun and good memories from those days.

My 1150 Suzuki used to eat V-Hondas and Maxi-pads. Injected GPZ-1100's were a hard run. Stock bikes.
I remember riding in Ontario one day, and a RG500 lined up with me at a stop sign in the middle of nowhere. That little 2-stroke gave me fits to a 100mph.

Live in Morocco and drive what’s called a Kia Carens. Naturally we named it Caren. Nearly 40mpg mixed driving diesel with 3 rows. Kinda ugly but really practical.

I still have 3 GSXR-Rs still. One is a street fighter, one is a "frankenbike"- an 1127 motor in a Katana 750 frame (a 7-11 as we call them) and one is being mostly restored with some upgrades, but stock frame and swing arm. One of my all time faves. The 1100 series was definitely in response to the V65 Magna being the first to official tens, IIRC. 1983, so early on. The Sabre was faster though, but never got an official record setting time, wasn't pushed that hard by honda, only one year. Suzuki loves to be the fastest. The V-4 Madura was faster than the V65 Honda, but had tons of issues. I owned one of those too, along with V max and a Kawi eliminator. I had a bike shop on the mainland. Funny this came up, my container from teh mainland is arriving with 15 motorcycles in various states of dis-repair destined for my new shop. I have actually built way more motorcycles at this point in my life than cars.

Yep, known as the "three wire fix"- and also, why I ended up with motorcycle shop back on the mainland.

Two more or less daily drivers - or as close as I get these days to driving anything daily.

First, my 2004 Ram 2500 4x4 quad cab, Cummins/48RE. Bought new in December of 03, only has 130,000 miles on it because I don't drive it as much since I retired 20 years ago. Stock except for a Smarty Jr. set on 100 hp and a FASS lift pump.

Second, my wife's 2012 Mercedes E350 that we bought off lease in December of 2014 with 15,000 miles. Now has 55,000 miles.

This naturally aspirated 3.5 liter motor has 12:1 compression ratio, just over 300 hp, and will get over 30 mpg on a trip.
