Stop in for a cup of coffee

600 a night?! that better come with an escort and a happy ending

It's actually a bit higher even. And that's just for a standard room. It's crazy. But some people will pay that kind of money for miles of beach, golf, tennis, spa, pools, etc. where anyone NOT paying can't get through the gate. A T-Bone for 2 is $170 where I work and that's all you get. Everything else is extra, a party of two can spend $300 without even trying and the wine list will take your breath away. I figured if I invested so many years in this profession I may as well get to this level. Most guests are really nice but they have high expectations so you have to be on your game. And it is physically demanding, two of my coworkers need knee surgery...

By the way by the time everyone else gets their cut, and because the business is very seasonal, we don't make as much money as you might think.

Wow that red Cuda is sweet. My Dad had a '70 with a bench seat and 318 that was the worst slapped-together Mopar you ever saw, but since then e-bodies have grown on me.

not sure - it was pulling out of the Leader Home Center right as I was getting there...
Nice 'cuda, Mike! '70?

they are bad ***.. this one appeared to have those YearOne Rallye wheels on it - - they sure aren't MaMopar wheels..

there was a cars and coffee meet just up the street Sunday - IF I can get my chit together and get the Scamp running right I plan to go a few times this year - I am sure that's where this car was coming from..

That is good you have another Mopar owner to meet. There is a Cars n Coffee near me this Saturday, my friend with the all-original 4-speed '68 Fury convertible comes lives far away, I never get tired of seeing. It is a nice atmosphere when you're at a casual meet like that and not a car show with loud music etc.

yea, I managed to go one time last year - mellow Sunday morning hanging out... usually 8a-11a so it really is a coffee stop..

We got the Dart to fire today....

Only for 8 minutes, then it died.... The fuel filter was not showing any gas, so we fetched 10 gallons and tried to start it again.... No spark....

So, we're back to no spark....

But here's a short video of when it first fired, before I was able to dial in the timing, it is about 10° at 2200 RPM here when I brought up the RPM's and checked the timing.

Sounds good but give it more initial. It labors...it doesn't sound happy.

Took the pop to the store this morning for more miles. The spedo quit again, turns out the part that clips on the spedo pulled off again......from the housing! Then the wheel extension I got came in the mail looks great will fit great but need to turn the shafts on the 5/16 bolts down to 1/4 and fine thread them and leave a shoulder on it so it will fit the wheel and adapter and still use the horn. Said f it for the day when the neighbor said the reverse lights are on in drive....again!

Hey on the half full side it is running! The reverse light thing has me baffled, I think I got Jegged! Wiring is fine the switch is new and bench checked. Has to be the wrong "pawl" in the trans maybe from a 904? No idea ready to pull the bulbs for the easy fix for now.
