This is why I won't buy a FBBO gold membership

I can understand a lot of the A-body crowd's frustration.

The A-body Barracuda, a.k.a. "crappy 'cuda", is ugly and less valuable than more desireable E-body Barracuda.

Then line up your best stock E-body Hemi Cuda against a stock A-body Hemi Cuda and see who wins....

Hmm, sounds like the A body crowd doesn’t like the B body crowd. Wonder why that is? There isn’t an A body built from the factory that has the potential to bring the owner more money when sold than a B body, or hell, an E body.

68 Super Stock Hemi Barracuda or Dart....

Enough said...

Then there's the Duster / Demon - stuck in the middle between the Nova and Maverick; a half-hearted effort to continue the legacy of the Dart, but really a third rate car.

And then there is Aspen / Volare'. Seemingly okay as basic transportation, but in R/T - Road Runner form (I just puked as I typed Road Runner, how can that icon be associated with this POS), an abortion of looks and power. Worse than buying an AMX Hornet, eewww!

Yes, I think the A-body crowd needs some Dr. Phil time to develop life skills to cope with chronic poor decision making. Cheer up, there is hope. One day someone will hug you real tight, and all of your broken dreams will be put back together! Yeah!
Oops! I think the A Body crowd is pretty cool, down to earth and the most helpful and hospitable group under the Mopar umbrella in my opinion. This group has banded together many times to help each other out, lended a hand, a shoulder during tough times, a prayer during the loss of a loved one or illness. Heck there was a bunch of the coffee shop guys that got together to help a fellow member put up a hoist in his garage. They have now made it a annual event with members traveling all the way from the west coast and Texas to Pennsylvania for the get together. Yes, the A body group is a special lot. We have more passion for our brand and models than most enthusiasts do. Talk about cars, the gen 1 Barracuda was a super cool concept and was never meant to be compared to the E body cousin. It was meant to compete with the Mustang which the Barracuda was released weeks earlier. Dart's and Valiants were a Mopar staple and when they came out with the Duster and then the Demon models Mopar had something going then. A 340 Dart, Duster, or Demon were feared on the street or the track. All the models that followed were no different than any other brand. When fuel prices went up along with insurance costs and the Government got involved in cars, all the manufacturers backed off on the performance and added energy absorbing bumpers to their full line. Heck the fastest production vehicle in 1978 was the Dodge Little Red Express Truck. Mopar has always had bullet-proof drivetrains from the indestructable slant 6 to the feared 426 Hemi. (and guess what, A body Mopars were available with all of those combinations.) Yep, we are a cool group. Stick around and enjoy the ride. toolmanmike

Well said, toolmanmike.

And we are all the better for it, don't need or want members that would make a blanket statement like that, you cannot possibly know all 26,673 members. If anyone in this is an asshole it's you. I don't know you, and don't want to after being labeled by you because you may not have gotten your way, or gotten everyone to agree with you over on FBBO.

Yes, I shouldn't generalize...

I edited my post so not to offend all of the B-body members over there...

Not all B body owners are snobs, the same with the A & E body owners. So let’s just enjoy what each has to offer and be proud to a MOPAR.

U buy cars to part out and crush. Mopar guys don't like that crap. U do it to urself.

Then if your one of those mopar guys you can kiss my *** and buy all your parts from a reproduction vender. Guys like me save more than we junk.

I buy them On the way or at the crusher to save the parts and then take them back. They are junk and someone had to save the parts or they will disappear for ever. Believe me I barely broke even on the last dart until I crushed it and only because I rolled another car up and stuffed it inside that I bought.

The coolest thing about tearing these cars apart are the trinkets and cash you find under the carpet , dash , and rear seat that have been there for decades. A-bodies are the best the vent doors were used as safes and then they forget about it.

Always is. Can't wait for Carlisle.
Dam guys, this can get out of hand as fast as fabo ! I simply meant there seems to be more parts for sale "most at better prices" than on fabo,> more buyers than builders . Guess I said it wrong.
