Tire hitting fender

Thanks it's only a car! Paint and steel ,I still have Jesus that's all that matters in life!!!!

You got THAT right, brother! Everything else pales in comparison, doesn't it?

Looking at your pics from the fourth post.
Those are my pics not the OP. Wheels are OEM 14 x 5.5 (front KH discs)

Darts have a rod from bumper bracket to fender to maintain the correct spacing, do barracuda have the same

My guess is your back spacing is your issue

I believe they turn on a slightly different arc or such....
Ever notice your car turns sharper one direction than the other ?

My Barracuda only rubbed onthepassenger side IIRC.

I run 25.4" height compared to your 25.85 and width at 205(8.07")vs your 215(8.46") so your .225" higher and .195" wider at relative off set. How much are you hitting by? If you braced the fender outword would it clear then? And is the well trim straight and tight to the fender? And I agree is the BIG picture of life things could be worst. This is one of those "stomach turning" events that will pass.

The tire that's rubbing is close to an inch more forward from rear wheel center line to front wheel centerline 108 and 3/16ths on passenger and 107 and 3/4 on the drivers side plus the passenger side is in the wheel well more
That's quite a difference.
IMHO something may be bent
Has the car ever been in a wreck?

You might want to try 205's go to a 60 and not a 70, a different backspace wheel or adjust your torsion bars different.

Exactly! Or a good alignment tech could tell the story. The wrong tire size or wheel offset may be aggravating the cause of the problem.

Mine are missing and the holes on the fender are mudded or welded shut does anyone have pictures and dimensions?

Do you or can you snap some photos of your front wheels and the wheel opening nad turn the wheel to where it rubs and post a few shots of that. From your avatar from what we can see it does look like the combination of your tire size and the width and offset of the wheel are a problem.

Anyone got a length and measurements on fender braces? Or even a picture I'm thinking it should have them

Bingo
Look for a good frame shop that can straighten it.
Do your homework, get references.
Yeah already did that this ship does all the old school stuff around here what I dont get is why after a couple hundred miles I had problems. I'm gonna get new tires and maybe wheels then take it in!

Hate do be a spoiler but if your wheels were a inch narrower or less backspace they probably would clear. Have you measured the car side to side? From the top of the wheel opening to the pavement? And it's rubbing on the front of the fender correct? More caster (the top of the wheel adjusted rearward) would open that gap as well.

I dont think you can get a half inch with caster do you?
