Well that sucks
There was a drilling jig but some asswipe here took it and didn't share it with the next guy. What a POS.Does anyone have a jig to borrow out with a deposit to drill out magnum heads for a LA intake I’m putting a 6pack intake on a 408 magnum

So, I’m sorry for not being able to provide a jig, but magnum swap website says Hughes will accept your intake and drill it at a reasonable price. What that actually entails, I don’t have the foggiest

That's what we had. A head drilling jig. I think @Stephen Hotz made it and started the whole sharing idea if I remember right. Stephen's a great guy, but some jerk messed it up for everybody. There is No Way in the world I would drill the flange on a Six Pack intake to fit magnum heads !
Drill the head !
There are millions of magnum heads around
Only so many Six Packs

Honestly, if you're just doing a one off, find an LA head and take careful measurements. A jig isn't really needed unless you're doing a bunch. Thanks for the replies my time is very limited and was trying to save some by borrowing a jig if I end up making one I’ll keep everyone in the loop but would like to still borrow one
A better idea is just don’t use the 6 pack intake. They’re junk. There is No Way in the world I would drill the flange on a Six Pack intake to fit magnum heads !

A good machine shop with a Bridgeport could do the job.Honestly, if you're just doing a one off, find an LA head and take careful measurements. A jig isn't really needed unless you're doing a bunch.

I think his story was that he loaned it out to a non member and they kept it. Or lost it. Or sold it for crack. Or whatever. But it was his responsibility. But yeah, he's the douchebag.so thats the duchebage that stole the jig?
Your suspicion is correctOut of curiosity, what's the blot to surface angle on the LA head? I suspect it's not 90 so maybe it's a bit harder to do by hand than I am making it out to be.
it is not. i don't recall what it is right off, but i know it's not 90.Out of curiosity, what's the blot to surface angle on the LA head? I suspect it's not 90 so maybe it's a bit harder to do by hand than I am making it out to be.
a search of the forum show that to be the person responsible.so thats the duchebage that stole the jig?
