Figured id share my garbage..

hey man, when i get out there to play figure it to be a 50/100 day

50% my junk holds together, 100% i'll be pushing the mop if it lets go.

i'll bring the refreshments, you guys will need to supply the comic relief.

You have a much higher chance of it holding together. I didn’t assemble it

I had a fuel line come loose in the trunk Friday night and fill it with corn and destroy all the paint so I’m currently gun shy as the thought of fire makes me uneasy.

your confidence in my skills brings me great joy.

dear lord, that sounds like a mess of epic proportions! hopefully you got it sorted and figured out the culprit? (it was turbo mike, wasn't it?)

Someone has to build you up so we get you to push your vehicles harder.

I found the line that somehow wiggled loose. -10 90 degree fitting in the trunk that goes to a bulkhead in the floor. I tightened it but I’m gonna go back and make sure it didn’t ruin the threads before taking the car out again

Me too.

Wait what? I get no respect.

Pretty decent day I’d say. Got to hang out with @TT5.9mag and give back to the community. Brought home best worst car and I believe Mike witnessed a short shift part throttle rolling burnout allegedly.

Witnessed, allegedly. I almost had my phone out in time but no joy.

Not a whole lot of progress. Harnesses are in (photo mock up but they’re in-in now).

Figuring out the Holley dash/wide band communication has been an uphill battle but it’ll get there. List for December is getting smaller. @TT5.9mag stopped in to lend a hand as always. :thankyou:

Looking badass as always

Hey @TT5.9mag i think I got this whole sensor thing dialed. Max voltage reading would put the AF at 18. Dash is one line short of the 4.5 volt reading. Can always shift the scale and lose the .5 volt reading.

Looks like you're actually about to get this sorted out. ...and right when I was about to suggest a stock slant 6 to replace all the BS. lol

So it’s much more linear than we thought. No math needed? The real test is compare it to a known good tailpipe sniffer. Westech?

We had the correct math the whole time. It’s all done for you on the scaling table.
(2.3750 * Volts) + 7.3125
If you do 2.3750 x .5 + 7.3125 you get your 8.50 on the first line. Just needed to figure out where in the dash to put the scale in.

I don’t think we’re allowed to play in the Westech sandbox anymore.

I considered the original 273 many, many times over the course of my ownership.

“We had the correct math the whole time”
Well look at us getting all educated and stuff. We ain’t as dumb as some might think. We can do the maths.
