    Duster or Demon

Can I change my answer to a Mexican Sper Bee - since they are a combination of both :-)

Went to an old junk yard today that had several Mopars

I'm going back saturday to pick up a trunk floor, I'll look and see what he has. I remember seeing a couple but didn't really take notice enough to say whats left on them.

Dangers of spray foam in body panels?

Ok, what did Chrysler use to keep crap from falling into the valley between the trunk extention and the quarter? I didn't say I was using it to patch a panel, I was asking about using something to prevent trash/water/etc from getting into the void.

Dangers of spray foam in body panels?

I've read several places online about folks using Great Stuff spray foam to back holes being patched by body filler or fiber glass - and everyone says it will trap moisture, which I could see happening. I wonder about the Great Stuff Pond and Stone foam though. I don't want to patch holes, but...

    Who was the Dusters/Demons competition?

My dad use to tell me back when he was sportin' a brand new '70 Road Runner that there was a local guy in a 340 Swinger that was spanking everything that didn't have a Pentastar (and several that did). So I fully believe a good driver in a small, light car with a tough 340 could harass and hurt...

    Who was the Dusters/Demons competition?

Yeah, I could see the Nova but would think the Chevelle (because of the the availability of big blocks and sticker price) would be more in the mid-size/B-body class. Back when I had my '68 AMC Javelin SST, I'd get people thinking it was a Nova all the time :banghead:

    Who was the Dusters/Demons competition?

I have alot more experience with B-bodies, but since I have ventured into the world of A-bodies, I was wondering who was the 1970 and up a-body's "brand X" automotive competition? I figure the Maverick Grabber was, but what else did Ma Mopar build the A's to go up against in the showroom?

Went to an old junk yard today that had several Mopars

Central north-east part of the state, in White County. It's on a gravel road and the only sign is a car hood with the name Johnny's something something, cause the paint's faded. It's pretty good size, mopar-wise he has several dusters, swingers, dart sports, couple of satellights, a road runner...

    3g hemi gas mileage

I have an '04 Ram Rumble Bee ( stock 5.7, 5-speed auto, 3.23 rear ) running Super Chips programmer set on Economy 87oct, Flowmaster and rear muffler delete and get 21mpg on freeway at 68mph (1750rpm) and average 14 mpg in town. I was running around on the Performance setting back when gas was...

Steering Wheel Crack Repair....What did you use?

I used the marine-tex I get through Brownell's to bed national match M1A actions, to repair the steering wheel on my old Super Bee. Bisonite is the older stuff which I don't think they sell anymore. The stuff listed in this post http://www.ebay.com/itm/Marine-Tex-E...item5d2ddda229 is the same...

To crate or not to crate

Not to hijack or anything - but has anyone had any dealings with the 440 Super Commando engine from mopartsracing.com? Built from a New 340 Siamese Block with 4-Bolt Mains, claiming around 540 hp with 550 ft-lbs. torque. I don't know the cost but it might be something to look at.

Steering Wheel Crack Repair....What did you use?

Bisonite or Marine-tex I wished I'd took pictures, but I used electrical tape as a dam so I wouldn't have a lot of excess to grind/sand away. Doesn't srink and is harder than epoxy.

    Duster or Demon

Both are cool, but I'm going with the Demon.
