    Overload shocks on a Duster?

My front suspension has been done for a while and its time to clean up the rear end. I am putting in the energy suspension poly bushings and replacing the shocks to see how I like it before I consider things like panhards or watts links. I have the PST bars up front so was thinking about stiffer...

what size torsions for a 69 dart for a little better handling?

I like my PST bars. I have a large tubular front sway bar and most the front suspension is poly. I didn't end up putting in offset UCA bushings but I still have enough camber that the car tracks confidently at 95. (don't break a hundred in Oregon they can take your car)

Let's get this slant turbo project started. 71 Dart

My 78 truck did this and it turned out to be the ignition module. Run a good extra ground wire to the corner of the module, if the module is still good this should fix it. If the module isn't good you will want to do this to its replacement to keep it from burning out.

    Hurst Comp Plus Questions

The brackets on your tranny are not original for the 4sp OD, but they might work as they seem about the right size. The short one should be moved to the lower position for reverse instead of the 1-2 position it currently shows in. The forward bracket in the (3-4) position needs to be in the...

The little plastic things that the headlight bezels screw into

I need the little standoffs that the headlight bezels screw into on the duster fenders. I can't find them, likely because I don't know what to call them. I need some new ones but don't know where to find them, or what other mopars might have used the same items. I don't need any other grill...

    70-76 A-body doors (2 door) ??

For duster/darts the 73 doors have different glass and window regulators than the early or later doors. Early doors are all metal with just the lower inner panel being an add-on. the mid and late doors have plastic uppers and separate lower inner panels.

3 speed manual and 2.76 gears with /6

It would work great in a duster (first in those 3 speed gearboxes is really low) but im not sure about a heavier vehicle with larger tire diameter.

    Lower ball joints

just make sure you get ones that are machined on both sides. I bought a Chinese made one that they only machined the bolt head recesses and not the side that should mate to the back of the spindle. I "upgraded" to a brand made in Taiwan and it was properly finish machined.

steering and handeling help, 73 duster

I am running a 215 65 15 on a 7 in wide wheel with 3.5 in backspacing and am having trouble keeping it from rubbing on the fenders of my 73 duster so be careful that you have the spacing right to pull the front tires in enough for fender clearance if your going overly wide. Also I am having...

verifying fit 72 donor to 74 car

cool, I will get those fenders the first day I have off to make it to the yard. I hope someone knows about the panels, if not I may see if I can get them cheap enough to make it worth a try.

verifying fit 72 donor to 74 car

I have found a 72 gold duster in a yard. I have a 74 duster. I would like to use the two front fenders but keep my old hood. I also saw that the c-pillar pieces (sails?) and the upper trim that holds the headliner in the donor are metal instead of broken plastic. I am fairly sure i can use the...

    return line for EFI conversion

Should the return line return fuel above or below the fuel level? I would assume above to limit pressure losses in the return line.

How Bad Am I Screwed? :(

Machinist here, Helicoil taps are different. If you step up a size and keep the same pitch it is often similar, but the helicoils don't usually hold properly. As for taking the sensor to find the right helicoil size make sure you measure the sensor threads and get that size as uninstalled...
