    ‘66 Valiant tire size?

What tire sizes work with the factory wheels? I can’t find the actual specs anywhere online and my car came with 185/70 R13s on it. Being so old, god knows if that’s the correct size or if it just works. I’m looking at going with some nice whitewalls and found some that are 185/80 R13, would...

    Collapsible steering column?

Hey guys and gals; I was just curious what year the collapsible steering columns were added as a safety feature in cars like these A-Bodies. I have a '66 Valiant and was wondering if there was any chance mine has one? I am just curious for safety's sake. My dad has a '67 Camaro and I know that...

    66 Plymoth Valiant PRNDL light?

Where is the light for the automatic PRNDL indicator on my 66 Valiant? My dad says it could be a fiber optic light from inside the cluster, but I'm wondering if it is a bulb inside the collar? Any ideas? I want to change over to all LEDS, so I'd like to figure out how to access it.

    Update on my '66Valiant

Thanks! It's been good to me so far! I drive the heck out of it! I am actually looking at getting a Dakota Digital cruise control kit and building am inside-trunk A/C system that would leave my dash as is. I would have all the amenities of a modern car!

    Update on my '66Valiant

I feel like I've been a bad member since I haven't posted anything but questions, so here is a little bit of what I've done to my car since I bought it January 4th of this year. First off, for those of you that don't know the story, I bought this car from the third owner who had only had it 14...

    Automatic Transmission Issues

How do I go about adjusting the band? Or check in a servo? Is there a how-to video? Thanks advice! I hope that's all it is! I will keep you posted.

    Automatic Transmission Issues

The clunk is not a problem, I just meant the way the car moves when it shifts. When I say it "stutters" it is a mechanical feel and it's really fast, the engine doesn't seem to have any issues. It's hard to explain. I would like it to be just the carb needing a good cleaning. In other news, I...

    Automatic Transmission Issues

So I have not posted in a while, which I apologize for. I promise I will update you all on my cars status as soon as I get this issue figured out. When I put my transmission in reverse, it clunks as it always does, letting me know my gears have shifted, but sometimes when I accelerate, it...

    Speaker size?

Hello, I did not see a thread designated for audio so I am not sure where to put this question... What is the factory size for the dash speaker in a 1966 Plymouth Valiant?

Could my original wiring harness handle the load from this unit?

I want to add air conditioning to my car, but I don't want to have to redo my entire wiring harness. Will I have to do something like that if I buy this kit? Or will I just need to upgrade to a more powerful alternator? What are your thoughts? Thanks...

    Chrome turning black?

Hey guys and gals, I have an issue with the rear bumper on my '66 Plymouth Valiant. The chrome on the driver side of the bumper and the lower portion of the driver side taillight assembly is all turning black. I've scrubbed it thoroughly and no change. It actually looks as though the chrome...

Help! Blower motor ground wire location? (1966 Valiant)

Inside the interior. It's a really long wire so I'm lost.
