BTW I have 4of 340 blocks, 1of 273, 2of 360 and IDK how many 318s. All stock bore and could be the foundation of your next powerhouse . No pics available at this time, but trust me; 400 hp could be under your hood in just a few weeks. Yes I will palletize one for you, but since it's 20 miles to the shipping depot, don't ask me to quote a price, Cuz I'll have to charge you extra to drive down there and get said quote, as they don't quote without seeing what they're shipping. So either you want one or you don't; trust me each one is a real good builder, they came out of running cars.
Lotsa heads too, some cranks, etc, E-mail with your needs. Cash only no tire kickers I don't need to sell this stuff just yet, try again next year, about the same time.
Ps ;I dongibachit if your kid just turned 16 and bought a car, or needs a college fund, or an upcoming wedding, your divorce settlement hasn't come thru yet, or your wife habits, or any of that fluff,just cash! dadgummit!

The software works better with a pc and not a cell phone but I don't usually have problems with photos here. The sale rules don't require photos but they are suggested for best results. You guys give us lots to do when you comment about no photos. Comments aren't allowed and photos aren't required. The best thing to do is let the ad go. Sooner or later the seller will figure out that the lack of good photos is why no one is interested in what they have for sale. Their loss!
 
No smart phone here.

Email addresses not allowed in ads here like they are in the rest of the world, so I do not list items here.

Email is so easy to use to send photos too.

Well it's the potential buyer's loss, too. I buy little new, especially things like manifolds. All the SB manifolds I have are used. Last new manifold I bought was back in the seventies for the 440 RR !!!

take a pic, post an ad, and then upload photos from "files" (usually the last shot taken is on top) or easier: post an ad then upload photos - camera, and it will switch to live camera and shoot your part. Did both methods below and both worked

If you just have a laptop, then email pics or download to PC and upload from files....or you could go nerd and hold item up to laptop and use the built in webcam to take a crappy shot of it...wanna buy a Wii-mote?

There are a very few people here I would buy something from without pictures. Del, you are one. There are maybe about five or six more. But I agree 100% that pictures make it easier to convey what it is you're trying to sell.
 
I don't advertise much on here anymore. I got really tired of "What's the VIN #" questions every time I listed a block and clearly stated the VIN was rusted completely away. They wanted a photo to prove I wasn't lying. **** it - I'll keep it or junk it if you already think I'm lying.

No pictures in a For Sale ad DOES drive me crazy. However, what really drives me nuts is when people ask vague questions and do not give the year, make, model, engine and transmission.

There's an ad in the local classifieds for a 340 long block plus? Fresh machine work done in 1994. In a small town about 3 hours away. Short version of his ad is no emails, no text, no calls before nine and don't call on sundays. No pictures and if you don't know what one looks like you don't need his. Call with questions...
Can't seem to sell it for some reason?

Like I said earlier, I don`t have the means to post pics on here, but ''IF'' I put up an add, I will back it up w/ phone pics, and more than one from diff. angles. If that aint good enough for u screw it, I`ll just let it set or junk it !

Agreed, every single 340 block listed on here "What's the VIN #" What if I don't care that the block was orphaned from it's mommy 30 years ago, most likely there was a very good reason. Does anyone know how many 340's have been reunited with their lost mommy's?
