Let's see your garage!

-
Here's my shop that we built this summer and fall. Just got it roofed before the first snow. And as you can see it hasn't stopped snowing. It is a 40 X 64 building that will be partitioned for a 20" wide main bay to work in and 10' for 3 car garage and 10' for office/storage/tools. Trying to get the insulation and walls up so can start working on the mopars. I have the Duster there now and the Cuda and Challenger to come home in spring. It took 25 years to get a working shop so as the old saying goes "there's no replacement for displacement" same for shop size as engine size.

Just a "wee one" in the back of the yard eh? LOL Beautiful one car garage! Can't wait to see your pics when your finished.

Heres one at the old garage behind my uncles house.

Hey Dorian
Yeah, at least I got one car in there this winter. It was a mad rush evenings and weekends to close it in before winter. I haven't got the heating yet until I get it insulated, so I don't work when below zero. Been few days lately to be out there. Gettin r done.

Here is my shop a two car garage with not a spare foot to pull a car in. I have been woodworking and working with composites for twenty years and all the equipment is in this space. For now the work takes place either in the driveway or on the outfeed table. Hopefully my next house will have say a six car garage.the tools keep multiplying faster than the space and I have very few real mechanics tools yet.

Here's an aerial view of my setup - the 20x20 is hidden by the trees so I outlined where it is.

You know you've got a lot of space when you need an aerial view to see it all.

Great stuff gang, keep the pics coming!

I needed to re-insulate the ceilings in my house so I got some extra to do the garage, got two skids delivered yesterday. Next step is electrical then drywall, lighting, the floor and work benches.

Here is mine as bought.... It had 2 people living in it at the time. Many, Many bullit holes in the roof. All that would fit in it with the door closed is a VW or rice burner.

It's not much but it's home...3 car garage. The Dart goes in the single 3rd stall.

This is last years rendition shortly after we moved in. Looks different now (better/more stuff). I should get a new pic up.

I just cleaned mine out. Nothing really happening with it at the moment. House is getting re-wired soon, new panel is going in the garage, garage will get wired then.

Floor is cracked, walls are bare (insulation on one side, rest will be done after re-wire), one single light bulb right now. Not too conducive to doing much of anything in there. Sorry for the dark pics.

Now have the B5 blue parts bench set up. The Comet is in winter storage offsite and we are proceeding with haste on the drivetrain & bodywork of the Barracuda.
