[SOLD] Right lower quarter panel - Duster Dart Sport Demon $50

$50 I ordered this back in May, and didn't pay attention that I ordered for a Dart Sport and not a Swinger. I live in Hutchinson, KS and can meet you up to a 100 miles from here to deliver in-person, or I can ship to you at actual shipping cost.

    Torque Converter fitment question

I'm looking at a replacement transmission for my 72 Dart 318 - 904. I already bought a torque converter - https://www.autozone.com/powertrain/transmission-torque-converter/atc-pro-king-transmission-torque-converter-cr7/398776_524846_0 It shows fitment for Darts from 71-76 The transmission...

    904 Rebuild spring mix-up

I'm putting a 904 back together and the 3/8" ball spring (that goes inside the valve body) and the 1-2 shift valve spring look very close and I got them mixed up. How do you tell them apart? At rest they are about the same height and diameter, the one on the right pictured below is stiffer and...

    [FOR SALE] 71-72 727 SB Transmission - PK3515844 $100

$100 I bought this off Facebook Marketplace listed as a 904. It was about 70 miles away and was dark and rainy when I picked it up. Got it home and realized that it was obviously not a 904. Lesson learned. It was a in a 1980 Dodge with a 318 and stated working when pulled, but the PK# indicates...

Some pictures from the Hutchinson Kansas Rod Run

"Big" local car show. I didn't put my Dart in this year, but there was an unusual number of Mopars here. Typically it's the orange Duster and that's it. I did a late entry of my 1970 Honda CL350. The 69 Dart was my favorite. I looked at it for about an hour and couldn't find a single blemish or...

Does this sound like a torque converter issue? More?

1972 Dart 318 904, 110,000 miles. Last year my radiator trans cooler developed a leak and I got coolant in my trans fluid. I put an external cooler to bypass the stock cooler, drained the fluid, changed the filter and new fluid. It seemed fine for about 3000 miles. This week I drove the Dart to...

Newest member of the Roadkill Mopar fleet

1968 Dart from David Freiburger's InstaGram page: "Our new ‘68 Dart has landed! It’s no where near as clean as we’d hoped when we bought it sight-unseen, but still a bargain at $1,300. When they are rough it can be kind of liberating...because we don’t mind hacking it into a race car. Plans are...

[Found!] WANTED - 7 1/4" rear end with or without stock springs

My 1972 Dart 318 rear end is getting noisy. I'm looking for anything from a complete assembly with leaf springs that you want out of your way to a nice set of gears out of the case. Mine is a 2.76 SBP with 10" drums. My springs are weak and saggy too so they would be a bonus. I'll be driving...

Bitchin' Rides 1967 Coronet R/T ***spoilers***

Anybody watch Bitchin' Rides? The season finale was some obviously very rich guy from Massachusetts. Look away if you haven't seen the finale or hate to see a straight R/T taken somewhere far away from stock. I like it, they pulled the front of the roof line down about an inch but left the...

    Totally a hypothetical question ;)

Let's say someone hadn't worked a carbureted Mopar for about 25 years. They went to pickup a 1972 Dart with a 318, 904, 107k miles, 500+ miles from home. They were smart enough to take a spare carb with them but it was a cheap chinese universal bbd clone. On first start, gas poured out of the...

stockinteriors carpet installation with factory AC

Has anyone had any trouble with stockinteriors carpet with mass backing and factory AC? I can't get the carpet to slide under the bottom of the AC system housing. It's great looking carpet but am I going to have to loosen the AC case somehow? Is that much of a job? Thanks.

    Correct starter doesn't fit 1972 Dart 318

I ordered a replacement starter for my 1972 Dodge Dart 318 from autozone. I went to install it and it wouldn't bolt up and felt "stuck" I found out the field housing end was hitting a brace and bolt on the engine block and it was keeping the starter at a slight angle. Everything I look up...
