    Purple 340 cam

That Lunati cam is actually an Ultradyne cam profile. I have one I plan to put in a 360 with some IMM xheads but haven’t gotten started on the motor yet.

    Street 360 W/.528" P.S. Cam

What would happen if one were able to add a half point of compression when they swapped a cam from 108 to 112 lsa? Or swapped cams with 108 vs 112 lsa but both were installed at 108 or 106… There are so many damn variables. Seems one could get get quite similar power curves and maybe get some...

    Street 360 W/.528" P.S. Cam

Port my current M1 single plane or install the RPM Air Gap?

There is an old article dulcich did for intake manifolds. I think it was a roughly 450hp 360. The rpm airgap did about 25lb tq better than the single planes around 3-4k rpm and had the same hp until almost 6k rpm. After that the single plane was a little better.

What head gasket thickness? Did you say the pistons were .010” down?

    340 stroker 422

I just used the diamond pistons calculator 6cc piston dish. .240” top ring down. 4.18 gasket bore. Piston .010 down and yr 67.5cc chamber. 11.1 with a .040” gasket 10.8 with a .050 gasket

If straight up on yr timing set gets you 102 ICL, then yes, retard it 6* for a 108 ICL.

    340 stroker 422

Given the location. And their 98 ron is similar to 93 in the US right? If no option for parts swaps. I would run the numbers on 106 and 108 installed centerline with that cam and a .050” gasket (still utilize quench properties). Double check all the measurements to be sure on compression. But...

Wasn’t there something about him not making kits for SM heads because the rocker arm saddles are machined with a slightly larger radius?

    Engine tech magnum heads

All the replacement heads are probably all the same castings. I would call promaxx and see what they do to them. They might be most likely to have quality work. I would be wondering if they do their own valve jobs in their replacement heads..

Need advice 360 timing chain cam/crank slightly off

I'm sure this would work to atleast check the timing set... RELATING VALVE OVERLAP TO THE TIMING TAG - WHAT IS A SPLIT OVERLAP? Split overlap means that the intake and exhaust valves are split or open an equal distance at T.D.C. Overlap. Of course, this also means that the intake and exhaust...

Choice for EDM solid flat tappet lifter.

Saw a thread somewhere else. Guy that is trustworthy says hylift johnson and possibly still eaton mfr lifters in the US. Forget if that was all lifters or just performance lifters. Choice for EDM solid flat tappet lifter.

And some EDM lifter, just like yr camsavers example, will fit and work in a slant 6. The fact that there isn’t pressurized oil to the lifter changes the actual lifter in no way.

    "EQ" Magnum cylinder head differences

for the price of the PIE heads, i would also be considering some SpeedMaster aluminum heads with a cleaned up valve job and maybe bowl blend. no doubt, when IMM was doing the EQ/INDY X heads prepped for roughly $1500, that was a great head for the money.
