Actually the Edelbrock Performer (non-RPM) works surprisingly well also. It's a lot like the revered CH4B. A 750 cfm carb won't be too small.

Unbelievably nice placement for an 18x8 wheel on this little car. The wheel design itself is also a personal favorite. Can't wait to see updated photos as this build progresses. The big brakes should make it quite a driver. Obviously you know what you are doing.

FYI, no matter what IFS you use, there are probably lots of choices on spindles and brakes. Suffice it to say that there is a sizeable price difference between "Ebay" stuff and Wilwood Pro. The Wilwood being not only more expensive but a LOT lighter too.

Hub to hub width would be the measurement to use for comparison. Track width would vary and would be affected by wheel width and offset.

I know that the (easily removable) steering shaft and starter still have to go in there but what a revelation. No more dark recesses to loose your tools in. You could throw a sack full of canned hams down that hole and it wouldn't touch anywhere!
