67Dart273 is right. The passenger side firewall is stamped totally different for an a/c car. Chrysler dealers installed an add-on air unit that fit below the dash. Nothing like the assembly line unit. Even the aftermarket air units will fit nice but you'll have holes left over.

and when you get done and plan on driving it on the street don't forget to plug the vacuum advance back up. It hurts nothing. it will help engine burn cleaner and may get mpg when hooked up. The no vacuum is a drag racing thing. Hook it up. It drops out as soon as you get into the throttle.

It should fit if your going heater/ac to heater/ac box. If your trying to add a/c it won't work as the firewall is stamped and drilled totally different with just heat.

I had a low pressure problem on prelubing my 340. It was the brass ring(name escapes me) on the oil line to gauge. It collapsed wrong and pinched off the line. I could hear the drill pull down but had no pressure at mechanical gauge. Easy fix.

Stay 100% Mopar. Use the '73-up A body spindles and brake hardware. The only problem you would have is if you had the early A body front sway bar. In which you would swap your spindles from one side to the other. You will here plenty of people groan about swapping the spindles from side to side...

also make sure the brass "buttons" inside the sockets are setting correct. They have to be clocked right so bulbs don't set across the buttons and send power backwards through wiring. If a bulb is burnt out the filament can lay back across the good filament and cause problems as well.

It'll take care of it's self. Just check radiator a couple times. OH yeah, make sure your temperature is set to hot so coolant will run through core.

use a relay out by your battery and you'll have a low voltage electrical wire to the relay. They sell the relays at any parts start and usually with instructions.

Did this on my '73 Duster. I adjusted my brake light switch too tight. Readjusted, just fine.

I don't know where this pic came from but those bolts and nuts are going the wrong way. You will notice the bolts have thin heads. They are made to fit from the spindle side out to the ball joint with attaching nuts.
