    Wheel Cylinder Links (Pushrods)

Outcome, in case anyone is interested: 9 inch drum brakes do not use the pushrods. The wheel cylinder pushes directly on the shoe. Hard to believe I've never encountered 9 inch brakes on a Mopar until now. Oh well, you learn something new every day, as they say. My lesson: Don't just rely on the...

    Wheel Cylinder Links (Pushrods)

I just found them at Jim's Auto Parts, p/n SP 840, $34.95 ea. Really? Really? I guess I may have to try the ones without the collar shape for $3 each. Looks like that just keeps the rod from falling out of the wheel cylinder cup when you remove the brakes.

    Wheel Cylinder Links (Pushrods)

Yeah, the ones with the groove - like in the first pic - are all I have ever encountered on the many 67-72 Mopars I've been playing with over the years.

    Wheel Cylinder Links (Pushrods)

Yeah, I've pretty much searched everywhere. I found 3 in my parts stash but still need 5 more. Here is what everyone seems to be selling. I don't believe those will work. Anyway, not what I want.

    Wheel Cylinder Links (Pushrods)

Does anybody know where to purchase these? Yearone is the only place I have found that had these but they were discontinued. All I have been able to find are the pushrods that are smooth on the end and don't have the little collar shape. I just purchased a 70 Dart and some goof installed the...

Thought I'd post this on both FABO & FBBO. Hello Mopar Compadres! I am hoping to get some help determining what my car might be worth in today's market. This car has been stored a long time and I recently got it back on the road. I WAS thinking of selling it and put it on eBay a few weeks...

Sorry to hear about that neighbor. I had that happen to me more than once when I lived in California. It really feels like being violated.

Complete led dashes for a bodies

I used a combination of Nordskog and Dakota Digital instruments. It's been quite a while since I built this, but I believe the speedo is a Nordskog. They used to make a universal kit that had all of the gauges as just separate circuit boards. I'm not a fan of the LED "sweeps" they used because...

70 Road Runner 383, 4 Speed Pistol Grip, Project Car

This is a VERY NICE, straight, almost rust-free project car. It needs minimal restoration work. The car is complete except for a few minor items. The engine is not the original but is correct date code. The engine will probably need rebuilt. It runs but will not continue running, and has not...

    69 dart 318 timing?

I don't know your specifics, but a couple of possibilities to check: Distributor 180° out (doubt it would even start), or Intermediate shaft that turns distributor is one tooth off.

Electric Duster - Yeah, I built it.

Thanks for the positive replies guys. Yes, I can understand someone saying "it's not my cup of tea" but some people just get really infuriated. I wasn't really ready for that. I agree with Goldfish. I think our culture has changed. Somebody commented online somewhere about my car that he...

Help with VIN location on small block

Well, I thought I knew how to find the VIN stamp on a small block but I guess I don't. I have a 318 in a car and a 340 sitting in my shop and I can't find it on either of them. Can someone please describe, or post a picture of where the VIN is located on a 71 and 72 small block? Thanks...
