Hi, I'd like to install a Tuff wheel on my 1970 340 Swinger. I need to stay within certain guidelines to maintain my collector car insurance. Was the Tuff wheel a factory available option for my car? Appreciate any insight.

Looks like you may have your switch installed incorrectly, do you have a mount bracket for it, can't see in your pics. I used a bent and cut wire coat hanger to replace the broken wire piece which moves the switch input.

Did any 1970 Mopars have a wheel like this as a factory option? Iv'e seen a few of these installed and they look good but I need to stay with factory avaialble original parts to maintain my original status.

Just buy oil and put in a bottle of engine break in additive, I use Comp Cams #159, costs me about $13 here in Canada, probably be about $9 in the US, buy it over the counter, no ordering or shipping required.

The sleeve and bearing assembly that works in the 23 spline is SKF N1463.

Just picked up a N1054 SKF release bearing, it's different from the one I removed, the inside diameter is too small but the parts listing at the auto parts store says it's correct. Anybody else run into this problem? If you any part numbers please post. Thanks.

Just finished assembling the engine, primed the oil system and lots of oil to the left rocker shaft and none to the right, turned engine over several turns by hand (I know cam goes 1/2 speed) still no oil to right rocker shaft. If somebody has one of those Mopar performance books with the oil...

My vote? Scrap!

Take a close look at them, I believe they are "keyed' and will only fit into the correct socket.
