    Good Guy Alert!!!!!

Some of you know that a couple of months ago one of our wonderful members "argometer" drove all the way down to my house to bring me an 8 3/4 sure grip rear end for $75.00. Also brought me a drive shaft. That was really cool. I mean, he lives up towards Canada. About a 3-4 hour drive from me. I...

I cant see any reason why I would not be able to do it. The housing looks the same. I'm just wondering. I...

    Good Guy Alert!!!!!

One of our members "Argometer" was reading on one of these posts somewhere, and noticed that I had mentioned that I could not afford a 8 3/4 rear end for my car so I'd have to use the 7 1/4. He also knew that I'd got laid off from work a couple of months ago and I am broke just scraping by. So...

I'm able to get a Dodge Aspen for really cheap. It has front disk brakes and I believe an 8 1/4 rear. I know that I can interchange the front disk brakes as long as I get the upper A arms from '73-'76 A-body??? If I'm right on this please let me know. I thought I read something to this effect...

360 build on a budget. Opinions????

O.K. I read a lot of these threads. But they are always about someone wanting opinions about building a 318 on a budget. Well, I'm the kind of person that is going to get the most bang for my buck. Mind you, this combo will be going into a '65 barracuda. I already have all of the parts I'll need...

I prepped up my floor boards

Well, I sanded them down to bare metal where they needed it. There was a lot of factory paint still there. And they only had some pitting in the usual spots. I think they will be fine. I dumped rustolium paint all over them. So tomorrow I'll be putting in my wiper pivot seals, padding, carpet...

What do you small block guy's think of this???

I really need some honest opinions on weather or not this will work out for me. I have a 360 with the stock heads. I want to run a single plane street master intake and a 600 cfm Edelbrock. I figured for a stock motor this would be sufficient. I'm not going to have anything fancy done to the...

I just cant afford to purchase an A-body 8 3/4 rear for my car right now. And may not be able to for a long time. It just is not in the cards. I'm going to be trading off all of my AMC goodies just to get a motor and trans. My question is: Is there any other rear out there that will work in my...

    What to do??? Any suggestions???

I have some ' 65 273 V8 exhaust manifolds I got from one of our wonderful members here on FABO. They look like typical exhaust manifolds that are 44 years old. Damn Interior coatings are costing me a lot of $$$$$

But in the long run I'll be saving about $400.00. And I'll get interior that I want. I never really have liked the interior of the early barracuda/valiant/dart. So I'll have my own. Although I love the colors of all of the early cars. So I'm making my own with the original gold. It is costing me...

    Sorry, It's a ' 73 D-100 318/4speed.

The guy doesn't know anything about it. I asked for numbers off of the trans. But I haven't heard back from him. I just didn't want to pass something up thats so cheap if it something that is useful. Like an 833. But as of right now I have no idea what it is.

    can anyone answer this?????

According to what I could find they didn't put 318's in that year. They put 360's. And I couldn't find any info on the 4 speed. They all were automatics. I...
