That tire should be fine on the back but I'm not sure about the front. Are you running bias ply tires now or have you in the past? They are fairly crappy tires. I have been running E70-14s for years and they suck but look cool.

Have you driven on bias ply tires? They are SIGNIFICANTLY different than a modern radial.

I have E70-14, Wide Ovals on my car. I don't recommend them. I also run the factory Inland shifter, which again, I don't recommend.

You will be limited by wheel width. 225-70-14 is as big as I would go.

The wheels were one of two colors. They were black or they were body color.

bias ply tires are total crap when compared to a modern radial. I run E70-14 bias red-lines on my car. They look great but have made me soil my shorts more than once. You want radials. A set of 205-70 (or 75) -14s should only cost a couple hundred bucks.

I'm not buying that those are 225/70/15s.

Buy tires that fit.

Just google. Lots of people sell those. You are looking at $1000+ for 4. No such thing as a reasonable price on re-pop bias plys.

On the front if you go bigger than a 215/60/15, you will be asking for trouble.

A 225-70-14 is a tall tire and won't fit every a-body if used on the front. You will want to check fit.
