    1965 barracuda trunk floor

This is my '66 Barracuda with the spare tire well from a '68 Valiant. I only used the tire well, not the entire floor. Fuel tank fits without issue.

    '65 Barracuda 'S' rear springs

An extra leaf will stiffen the ride, but the arch is what will raise the rear. 1" or 2" over stock will get you there. I can't tell you how high either will go, though.

    64-66 Barracuda Rear deck hinges

66 Formula S project This is how I fixed mine. Post#46. There may be better methods, but this is how I did it with the knowledge I had at the time. Can't tell you how well they hold up because the car is still in pieces after all these years! Maybe this year?

Brakes "skip" as I press down. Whats goin on?

X2 on the '67 and later dual reservoir master cylinder. You'll need the correct dual res. distribution block also. That is the brass chunk mounted on the frame rail where the brake lines from the master cylinder go, and where the front and rear lines go to their respective wheel cylinders. The...

    Need 66 Barracuda rocker fasteners

I had thought about the drywall anchors! Didn't know if that would work or not. I guess it does! Probably better than the brittle originals anyway!

    Need 66 Barracuda rocker fasteners

Layson's sells them for $2.50ea. That would be $35+shipping on those. I may have to improvise on the other one. The above link looks like it may have some that will work.

    Need 66 Barracuda rocker fasteners

I contacted Rick at Layson's and he said he hasn't seen this type of fastener. Anyone else? The larger "T" clip screws toward the top of the rocker to hold the top of the rocker trim. I can get those. The round fastener holds the bottom of the trim to the bottom of the rocker. The pin spreads...

    Doors & floor

I'm no authority on the subject, but I do believe the floors are interchangeable. If you find some solid floors from a non-wagon donor car, and you find that they vary a little, you should still be able to modify them to work. The differences would be minimal, if any. I don't know for sure...

    my 65 Barracuda questions

I'm only going by what I have seen. I'm no authority here. Cruise this site for fellow '65 owners and ask them. I may be wrong about this.

    my 65 Barracuda questions

This photo might help with the door paint question. The stripes should be gloss like the rest of the car. The cracked seam sealer is what you have along your roof rails. I stripped all that off of mine and re-sealed them with a better seam sealer. Not sure about the hood hinges. I didn't remove...

    63-66 floor pan steel thickness

Some of the re-pop stuff is 18 ga. If you are making them yourself, and you have 20 ga., they should be plenty strong. The floor pans on uni-body cars are structural. The 18 will be a little harder to form because it is a little thicker, but I don't think you will compromise structural integrity...

    63-66 Firewall pix needed

I don't have pics, but I do have a suggestion. Use some copper wire to make templates of the tubing shape and route, then bend your tubing to match the copper wire. That way you will know it fits. Bailing wire may also work.

    Rust under battery tray

I made a pattern out of water color paper, then transferred that to some sheet metal stock. I put a piece of pipe in the vice to bend the contour after I cut the metal to shape. Try to use a pipe with the same diameter as the radius you need for your bend. After that, tack it and weld it. A...

    vent windows

Here are some pics of what you'll be looking at. The Barracuda emblem will have to be pried out. You can see in the photo where the allen screws are located. The last one is the vent assembly after removal.

    Guess what I found

That quarter doesn't have copper in it. Bounce it on the table next to a '65 and up quarter and hear the difference. Pretty cool.
