I have a quick question for all the FABO faithful, can i swap a distributer from a mid to late 70's la motor into a 318 poly motor?

Well to be completely honest guys i have essentially no knowledge on how to tune carbs. I know that every time my dad and I try to mess with this holley it either runs rich or runs like crap.

I was just wondering what everyone here thought of demon carbs. I've about had it with my holley. I can't seem to get it tuned right and it seems to be leaking somewhere.

i've actually done the sand paper deal on my chrome housings before, and it never worked. But i took the cast iron one from my dad's 360 he just bought and it hasn't leaked yet.

I can never seem to be able to keep my thermostat from leaking everywhere. It feels as though I've tried everything, I am almost to my wits end! Please can anybody give some advice as to what i can do to keep this from leaking?

Thanks guys for all your input. But i drove it last night and it went away, and it still runs great. So i have no idea why it was doing it, maybe i was just imagining it.

Already using 93, i guess i'll play with the timing a bit. I just find it odd that after i let off the throttle it all of the sudden started knocking.
