I cant imagine this noise coming from the the steering column.....not to say it's impossible! Did you check the mount at bottom of column where it bolts to floor? Maybe that's loose.........I'm still saying check suspension/brakes.

Check your front suspension ...tie rods,ball joints, bushings..........ect

Somebody help me!! Took apart my column a while back to paint and rebuild and have forgotten how it goes back together. How do these 2 pieces lock together?? I dont see/remember any screws holding in them in place. I'm stumped. Thanks

What year is your steering box? I did the same swap on a 67 barracuda and had no problems.

I'd buy the complete set. I had an issue when i removed the rubber not all of it came out. If you don't get those shells clean your new bushings will not sit right or completely go at all.

Exactly right!! Bought one last fall and pretty much looked at the hardware box and sent up a 3 point shot to the trash can! bought new hardware at local hardware stores. Bar works great.

should the lca be in a fully relaxed state then slide torsion bars in?? Or do i lift up on the lca and then slide bars in?? Doesn't seem like theres enuff adjustment to lift the hanging lca up to where it should be.Thanks please tell me if what i'm asking is not clear!!!!!!

Are my STOCK (i believe) axles able to with stand 4-450 horsepower.Car may see the track twice a year if that. mostly just cruisin but dont want to be affraid to stand on it in fear of sumthing breaking. Thanx

Can anyone tell me if a 66 barracuda column will work in a 67 barracuda? Are they the same? OR if different why? Also i have an 8 3/4 out of a 70 dart,is it a direct bolt-in on a 67 barracuda or will the spring have to be in/out? Thanks
