    Cool '69 Dart I saw

I took the Valiant to a local cruise in last Friday night and parked between this and a Viper GTS. The Dart was just too cool not to take a few pics with the phone to share with you guys. Sounded pretty healthy when it left. It's funny, I was pretty satisfied with my slant when we arrived...

    cowl panel

dropping the heater box under the dash is really the only way. You can get a shop vac hose in there and get the big stuff. It's a real PITA, I really wish our cowls were removable, at least like the e-bodies and '71+ B bodies.

    PHOTOS OF YOUR 1st MOPAR

My first was a '69 Coronet 440, bought it in 1997 at the age of 14. Detailed cars all summer to buy it; paid $600 for it, was a running/driving car, only thing wrong with it was a blown heater core. I miss it a lot. This pic is from around '00-'01, maybe a year before I sold it to buy a Charger...

Mopar Missle Sign - anyone else ever see one?

Yeah, it's a reproduction. I bought one maybe a dozen years ago; local hobby shop used to sell them, they still had a few a year or two ago.

Marble Mystery Oil & Sea Foam

Good call, I forgot to add that part. When I used it I pulled all the plugs and pulled the coil wire before I cranked the engine over. If you do this on a car thats not already filthy under the hood it'd be a good idea to cover the heads and plug holes with an old towel, the stuff gets shot...

Marble Mystery Oil & Sea Foam

+1 on that! I've had two 318's that sat for 15+ years, one of which was stuck like a rock, poured a little Marvel down the spark plug holes, let it sit a few days. Both broke free, got both running great and drove one of the two 40,000 miles without a problem. Great stuff!

I agree, too cool to part out! If it was around here for sale I'd buy it today!

    Early Dart iin TV show

I remember that one too, the Challenger, Coronet and a '64-'65 Fury Convertible stick out really well in my memory. I'm sure she drove other things, not sure if Chysler lent them new cars every model year though.

    Early Dart iin TV show

I never saw Miss Hathaway drive an a-body, I remember a lot of B and C body convertibles, a blue Coronet for one. There was at least one a-body convertible on the show, but she didn't drive it. Mannix had a few Dart Convertibles and an e-body Barracuda, all green. A few years back one of...

    Early Dart iin TV show

I saw it! It was only there for a second, I had to rewind the dvr to make sure it was a '64. Pretty cool to see another mopar on USA right after Burn Notice with the Charger. I think the Dart was blue IIRC Royal Pains wasn't that bad either, the girlfriend talked me into watching it, I...

ARRG!!! Why do the mopar gods do this to me?!

I've pretty much decided not to trade. I looked his car over, it's nice and much less rusty than mine, but all the hard work has been done on mine other than the cowl and 1/4 rust...... I've gotta keep the 'vert. After all, I bought this one because I still missed the '63 Dart 'vert I sold in...

ARRG!!! Why do the mopar gods do this to me?!

A few weeks ago another guy in town with a Valiant stopped by the house, I knew of his car but we had never met. He's got a fairly clean '64 Valiant hardtop, 225 auto, new interior, small bolt ralleys, cool car. Anyway, I had a little while to talk to him and look at his car, then he tells me...

    Coronet 500 Convertible

There are still plenty of Coronet 440 and 500 convertibles out there, just like the sedans and hardtops, most of them seem to be living as R/T and Super Bee clones. It's kinda sad.... <--- Had two Coronet 440's and darn proud of it! ;)

How rare is a heated back glass on a 73 dart sport

I'm pretty sure the '73 Duster I owned had one. I still have the build sheet, I'll have to give it a look.

    Sweet 63

+1 on that, it's swaying me away from going with B5 or FC7 on the Valiant

Wow, that is one sharp Dart! Nice work!

yup another what's it worth Q.

Me too, if not $6500, I'd say it could be very likely they have that in it, paint and vinyl top among other things appears to be new and very well done. I bet they've got $3500 in wheels, tires, suspension and brakes alone... It's a nice car, if I had the money, $4k is about all I'd go on...

    Historic Plates !

Our laws are pretty much the same around here, except you now have to sign a paper saying your either own or have access to another vehicle for regular driving you also have to provide vin and tag# for such vehicle. There used to be virtually no restrictions on the plates, but so many people...

    Duster Shorty

I'm not sure if I believe their story on the history on it, drivers inner fender is awful bent up and the core support is cut. Not that it really matters with something like this.....

    Need your opinion...72 duster..worth it?

I got the '73 318 3-speed Duster I had around '00-'01 for $300 and other than the paint (mine was primer) it was in a little better shape than that purple one. I miss those days. Deals are still out there though, this Swinger was for sale at my local mopar show last fall for $2500. It was a...

    Need your opinion...72 duster..worth it?

I've drug home a lot of junk in my time and even I would be very leary of that purple duster for that price. Looks like it's full of bondo, has a poorly spray bombed interior and the torsion bar deal. The Aspen and A body k frame and torsion bars of completely different designs. As far as I...

    Is this odd or?

Being that it has front discs also, I'm inclined to believe it is a factory V8 car. You should try and dig around for the build sheet, see if you come up with anything to support either. VIN and title mishaps did and do happen, though not really often; my daily driver is a 4-dr sedan thats been...

    New pictures of my '73

Now I've heard of a Space Duster and a Feather Duster but never a snow Duster ;) Looks like a good start

    Is this odd or?

If it's got a C for the 5th digit, it's a 225 slants six car, or at least titled as such. The only other C that could be in the VIN is for the assembly plant, that would be the Jefferson plant. Are you sure the fender tag matches the vin?

They are, though they we're avail. before '76 IIRC, but for sure post 1970

    Sold my Valiant today..

Well, I actually sold it on Saturday but it didn't leave until today. After months of hard work getting it running and roadworthy I had to pass it on to someone else. At least I managed to put another back on the road, I couldn't see this thing continue to sit like it had done for the...
