dropping the heater box under the dash is really the only way. You can get a shop vac hose in there and get the big stuff. It's a real PITA, I really wish our cowls were removable, at least like the e-bodies and '71+ B bodies.

Yeah, it's a reproduction. I bought one maybe a dozen years ago; local hobby shop used to sell them, they still had a few a year or two ago.

Good call, I forgot to add that part. When I used it I pulled all the plugs and pulled the coil wire before I cranked the engine over. If you do this on a car thats not already filthy under the hood it'd be a good idea to cover the heads and plug holes with an old towel, the stuff gets shot...

+1 on that! I've had two 318's that sat for 15+ years, one of which was stuck like a rock, poured a little Marvel down the spark plug holes, let it sit a few days. Both broke free, got both running great and drove one of the two 40,000 miles without a problem. Great stuff!

I remember that one too, the Challenger, Coronet and a '64-'65 Fury Convertible stick out really well in my memory. I'm sure she drove other things, not sure if Chysler lent them new cars every model year though.

There are still plenty of Coronet 440 and 500 convertibles out there, just like the sedans and hardtops, most of them seem to be living as R/T and Super Bee clones. It's kinda sad.... <--- Had two Coronet 440's and darn proud of it! ;)

If it's got a C for the 5th digit, it's a 225 slants six car, or at least titled as such. The only other C that could be in the VIN is for the assembly plant, that would be the Jefferson plant. Are you sure the fender tag matches the vin?
