After zooming in on date stamp it looks like the date is 6/15/77 but look at last 7 and it looks funky around it. To me it doesn't look like a 1 or a 2, it looks like a 7.

Well lets see, to wash it I use Meguiars gold wash, to wax I use Jax Wax 2 to 3 a year and use never dull and white gold on the wheels. All done with a micro fiber.

Have used them on daily drivers and used the kit to clean and re-oil and on them they are a darker red due to alot of miles. I would assume if you don't put alot of miles on it will show less wear.

I also have one on my Demon and a few years ago I was talking to a guy at the Mopar Nats who had a survivor Duster that also had the tag. He had told me that the tag was a quality control tag for the paint.

There was a story awhile back in one of the Mopar mags about this mess that a soldier that came back from Vietnam had bought a Demon 340 and turned it into what we see here. I believe the color was butterscotch but same outcome. I don't know why you would want to do that.
