Had a 318 4 speed new in '69 and now have a 440 recreation 1969 4 spd totally restored.

Corroborating what 7DEMON2 said above, here's a pic of my original 72 Demon. A little tough to see the detail, but you can see the metal fender emblems. The metal emblems are on the fenders and a decal was on the right side of the blackout decal cal on the rear trunk near the tail light.

I remmebr 315 to 325 as the estimated flywheel horsepower as well. My 69 318 stock was 230 rated and dynoed at 271 My 72 Demon 340 was rated at 240 (8:5 to 1 compression) and dynoed at 275

Wish I could find a 72 Demon 340 for that money
